Kenny has been in the Fashion and Styling industry for over 10 years.
His knowledge in fashion and his multi-faceted skills make him one of the most creative, versatile and individual fashion stylists of today.
Kenny graduated from Wimbledon School of Art in London with a first class degree in Costume Design.
While he was still in art school, he was already designing and making outfits for David Bowie’s live performances, and for his wife Iman – recommended to them by the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
Soon after his graduation in 1996, Kenny became stylist to the Spice Girls; he introduced them to high fashion; updating their image and moving it forward. Kenny was responsible for Victoria & David Beckham’s wedding: he asked recognised American fashion designer Vera Wang to create Victoria’s legendary wedding dress; and renowned English tailor Timothy Everest to tailor David’s wedding suit. Their dramatic evening outfits were created exclusively cutting edge British fashion designer Antonio Beradi.
Kenny has worked with many prestigious celebrities such as Orlando Bloom, and Cate Blanchett as well as international music artists such as Beyonce Knowles and Christina Milian. His fashion editorial work has been published internationally in titles such as Vogue (UK), GQ (UK), Sunday Times Style (UK), Tatler (Russia), Madame Figaro (China), Emirates Women (Middle East), Flaunt (USA), Intersection (USA), NEO2 (Spain), and Panorama First (Italy) among many others.
In addition to styling for celebrity, music, fashion editorial and advertising, Kenny’s extensive knowledge and skill in fashion and costume also enable him to design and create unique one-off outfits from scratch exclusively for his clients. He has designed and made distinctive costumes for David Bowie’s Earthling tour.
He has also designed and realized outstanding tour costumes for many of the high profile music bands and artists in the United Kingdom, including the Spice Girls, and Girls Aloud. Kenny’s designs are exclusive, individual, and capture the eye of the public and generate much positive response from the media. Artists have worn and performed in his creations at prestigious awards shows such as the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, the Brit Awards and the MOBO Music Awards.
Kenny is currently the Senior Fashion Editor for the highly acclaimed and much sought after men’s fashion biannual 7TH MAN MAGAZINE.
